The Acton Court went through the parade in nice dry convertibles, but most of the rest of the beauty queens came through like warrior princesses!
They were running wild in the streets, I tell you!
Local authorities did nothing to stop it!

Getting up high didn’t save these two from getting drenched. The road was lined with super soakers!
Sometimes the attack doesn’t turn out quite as one envisioned it.
As soon as the parade ended, the crowd turned on itself!

Clever defense! The container was filled with water but when it ran out it became a shield.
Okay, maybe not so clever after all. I didn’t even see this until I downloaded my photos!

And they were very kind about not spraying me with my camera or the dogs next to me. One woman hid behind me when she figured it out!
